The Best Wine in the World is PORTUGUESE!

The magazine Wine Spectator considered the Port wine Dow’s Vintage, from 2011 harvest, the best wine of 2014.
The fourth and third position were also obtained by other two Portuguese wines from Douro River valley, the Chryseia (2011) and Quinta do Vale Meão (2011), respectively.

4 Portuguese Wines in Wine Spectators Top 100.

The magazine Wine Spectator’s has included 4 Portuguese Wines in your annual list Top 100 of 2013

The awarded Portuguese wines were the following: 

  • Croft Vintage Port (13th place)
  • Quinta do Passadouro from Douro (37th place)
  • Quinta do Crasto Douro Reserva from Douro (81st place)
  • Graham Tawny Port 20 Year Old (87th place).

The selection of wines for the TOP 100 List was based on quality, value, availability and excitement.
